October has been a hectic month.... I have been running around getting ready for the SA Scrapbooking convention retailers day in JHB and Cape Town and then joining in the fun and attending the Convention at Spier, in Stellenbosch. I will soon post one or 2 photos of the conventions.

Then I finalised all my orders for Kaisercraft's NEW Q2-Collections....and as we speak I have barely any stock left. Thank you to all of you who supported me and placed your pre-orders in time....and thank you for those that bought the rest of the stock...!

I will keep you posted on NEW RANGES that will be arriving soon...just waiting on those boxes at the moment.....

In her own words - More about me:

I have been scrapping for 6yrs. It has been a wonderful journey. I love everything about scrapbooking....the process & planning, the tools, the papers, ribbons, embellishments....! There is little that can make me more happy than sitting in my scraproom being creative.....

I have been married for 15yrs to Jaco...best friend and partner...more than what I could have hoped for.....! We have 2 children - Liani {7} and Reinecke {4}. They keep me very busy!

My scrapbooking style: I have a simplistic style. I love straight lines.....

Products I love: photo anchors, decorative brads, bling and stitching...you will see these in most of my layouts. And I love fonts...I am a serious font "junkie"!

I am a work-from-home-scrapper and all my work involves scrapbooking....what a life......! Can't get it any better......

In her own words - more about me:
I have been scrapping for nine years. I am a wife, {work from home} mother, daughter, sister, friend, entrepreneur, business owner {unfortunately not scrapbooking}, scrapbook & cardmaking & beyond the page project freelance teacher....to put it in a nutshell!

I have a wonderful and supportive husband {yes, he even supports my scrapbooking!}, very photogenic daughter and a lovely support group of friends and family.

My style varies to what is available on my "to try"-list! I love using various techniques and trying new products.

The best part must be scrapping with friends and sharing memories while creating a keepsake for my daughter to cherish for years to come.....

Sophia Allison:

A little about me...

I am married to my loving and supportive husband, Murray, for almost 8 years. We have 2 beautiful girls Any (5 years) and Chloe (19 months), they are my inspiraion to scrapbook. I am born and bred in Durban, South Africa, a little city along the coastline. I had always been a keen card-maker, until my sister-in-law introduced me to the world of Scrapbooking in October 2002. I went for my first class at a local craft shop in November and you could say I had been bitten by the Scrapping Bug and am now hooked!

I made my debut on Making Memories' Blog. This was the highlight of my year.

My style...well, I don't know that I have one, as my layouts range from simple to shabby... to heritage and I am not afraid of colour or stretching my comfort zone. I try to keep as much focus on the photos. Sometimes my style changes with the wind but I guess that is creativity for you. My most comfortable size is 12 x 12, although I also enjoy putting mini albums together.

These papers are described as "Getting back to the basics in a quick and “krafty” way! Simple and sweet in design, mixed with the stylish and sophisticated look of Kraft paper, you can’t go wrong!"

Included in this series is a variety of die cuts, die cut paper shapes and 12x12 papers printed on a specialty Kraft paper. These designs use easy to coordinate colors and office style graphics that make completing pages quick and easy.
